Communication and Working Together
That is where my email conversations between us will be stored.
Content is sometimes shared via Wetransfer:
Finally prototypes are sometimes shared using Sketch app:
Or sometimes InVision:
I also use Kashflow as an accounting package, your invoices will therefore be stored (securely) there:
As we work together there will be data shared between us pertaining to the project. This will undoubtedly involve user/customer information. It might also mean that you send me access details to services that I need to include within a site build, eg. Domain name accounts, Mailchimp details etc. By sending these to me you are giving me permission to access these accounts on your behalf. These details will be kept securely either in the email communications they are sent or within a secure, encrypted password manager which has a two-step verification process.
This data will not be shared with any third parties as standard and only passed on under express, written permission from you, the client.
As above, if I ever am asked to share client information with a third party it will only be passed on under express, written permission from you, the client. Any data sent to me is stored securely using the previously mentioned channels.
Information Transfer Outside of the EU
Data stored within Google services (G Suite, Gmail, Google Drive and Google Analytics), Invision, Slack, Sketch and wetransfer, is stored on servers outside the EU. Google is certified under the EU-U.S Privacy Shield framework. You can find more information here:
On the whole these services (Gmail aside) will not be storing data that is related to GDPR, as in my client’s personal data - but I’m listing them here for the record.
Access to your Personal Information
If for any reason you require a record of personal information or for me to delete any communications, then email me at [email protected] and will I do so within 30 days of your request. I will require proof of identity to do so.
Data Breach Contingency
If there were to be a breach of any of my security facilities I would follow ICO guidelines and contact any party that needed to be informed of the situation within 72 hours of my knowing it had occurred.
